Bank Saudi Fransi (BSF) needed to implement a SAMA‑compliant Open Banking platform, aligned with Saudi Arabia’s national Open Banking Framework, which aims to strengthen financial innovation and standardize secure data‑sharing across the sector. To comply with these regulations and expand fintech partnerships, BSF required a modern API‑first architecture, real‑time event streaming capabilities, and a fully automated DevOps/APIOps operating model.

Solution

Link delivered a next‑generation Open Banking and Banking‑as‑a‑Service platform, built using:

  • Kong API Gateway for secure, standardized API exposure
  • Solace for real‑time event streaming
  • Microservices architecture for scalability and agility
  • Full DevOps/APIOps practices to automate delivery and governance
  • 24×7 operational support
The program ran for 48 months with a dedicated team of 10 FTEs, ensuring end‑to‑end design, implementation, and operations. The project was also a finalist at the Oracle Cloud Excellence Awards 2023 (EMEA).
